A SystematicReview Concepts and Patterns of Promotion and Popularization Science

Abstract

The rapid expansion of science as a result of human efforts to understanding natural phenomena and its surroundings, has raised a situation that is well known to “public perception and science gap”. This gap between science and the public, has caused failure of acknowledgment of science, lack of support for science and most importantly lack of participation in science. It is an extremely serious obstacle to the development of science. Therefore, the popularization of science includes a set of programs and activities in order to understand the scientific concepts for the public and promote public perception of scientific concepts. This trans-disciplinary process as an issue in all scientific fields occurs in order to the knowledge and insight of the public, strengthen the public confidence in science, public participation in science, eduactue ordinary people about sciencebut in the field of popularization of science, like any other thought, there have been developments and different views. Accordingly, this article attempts to analyze the concepts and points of promoting science and its goals, then to study and discuss attitudes and patterns of this process on the systematic review historically and functionally.
