Semantic reconstruction of visitors' experience of the Science Festival

Abstract:
Objective: The present study tries to reconstruct the experience of visitors to the Science Festival for everyone with an interpretive approach. initially ,Types of science festivals,, their goals and functions in the worldand then the different sections of the science festivalsin Iran.have been introduced
Method: The research approach is qualitative methodology and the ethnographic method has been used to perform research operations. The data were collected using a transient interview method. The sampling method used in this study is of the qualitative-theoretical sampling method and using the theoretical saturation index, 30 visitors of Alam Institute of Science were interviewed for all as a sample of the research community. Their experiences of visiting the festival were studied. "Thematic analysis" has been used to analyze the information and draw conclusions from the research findings.
Conclusion: The results of the analysis of the interviews with the visitors and the researcher's observations leading to the extraction and classification of 6 main themes about the visitors' experiences of the festival were as follows: 1) casual visitors 2) welcome and 3) 4) Recent experience 5) Low level participation and engagement 6) Potential fans
