Abstract
The aim of this research is survey, prioritize and comparison of main dimensions of knowledge management cycle in the existing and desired situations in a project-based organization, consequently identifying the most important and effective dimensions of knowledge management and offering useful solutions to enhance and improve organizational knowledge management. Research in terms of target, is applied and in terms of research methodology and methods of data gathering, is descriptive - survey. The statistical sample consisted of 103 employees of Noi Consulting Engineers Co. who were selected by simple random sampling method. For collecting information about literature, theory and background research used of library studies, and for collecting data about research hypotheses used of researcher-made closed questionnaire distribution. The necessary calculations to analyze the data that collected in this research were conducted with using of the SPSS 19 software and through descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis research hypotheses show that there are differences in prioritization dimensions of knowledge management cycle and their indexes in the existing and desired situations of the target population that indicates the need to reform planning of the main dimension of knowledge management cycle and important indexes each of them.
