Reconsideration in the Policy of Academic Rank Promotion for Faculty Members of Higher Education Art Institutions

Before enacting any new laws for professors, students, and, more broadly, art academies, one must first pose the fundamental question: Why should these academies exist at all? And what would happen to art, the artist, and possibly the scientific system if they did not?
This essay, with reference to the state of art academies in Iran over recent decades, seeks to address these questions from a philosophical perspective.
